Meet Needs and Share Christ’s Love
SYBA Food Pantry
The SYBA Food Pantry offers assistance with food and basic hygiene items. Our friendly volunteers help families shop for food and carry their groceries to the car. Everyone who comes has the opportunity to hear the Good News and receive prayer.
Toys for Jesus
The SYBA Toys for Jesus ministry helps all children in our communities experience the joy of Christmas by providing toys to families that need help.
Everyone who receives toys also receives encouragement and an opportunity to hear the gospel message as we share the love of Jesus at Christmas.
Appalachian Backpack Ministry
The Appalachian Backpack Ministry provides backpacks, warm clothing, food items, school supplies, hygiene items, and Bibles to preK-8th grade kids in impoverished areas of the Appalachian coalfield regions, in partnership with NC Baptists on Mission.
Fair Ministry
The Fair Ministry is an annual ministry that serves the traveling fair workers by providing free meals, toiletry items, and haircuts. Groups from our SYBA churches join together to meet physical needs and share the love of Christ.
