Church Happenings Guidelines


The South Yadkin Baptist Association sends out a weekly email to our email contacts entitled “Church Happenings.”  This is your opportunity to advertise big events in your church to your fellow churches in the area.  Please send your information to canthony@sybaptist.org.  The deadline will always be the Wednesday before the Friday that the email will go out.

Guidelines:  Any event to be included in the weekly “Church Happenings” email must be one that will benefit the members and/or staff of other churches OR one that promotes like-minded ministry partner events.  Acceptable partnerships will be determined by the Director of Missions and/or the Board of Directors.  Each advertisement can run a maximum of two weeks with detailed description, graphics, etc.  After that, it can only be listed at the end of the email with basic information and a link to the church’s website and/or the church’s phone number.  Special church-produced presentations, such as Christmas and Easter musicals, will only be listed with very basic information and may include a link to the church’s website and/or the church’s phone number.
